Alyssa is a writer, nonprofit-er and occasional actor living in Los Angeles by way of Indiana, Wisconsin and Michigan—a true Midwesterner at heart. She has also spent time living in Washington, D.C., the Twin Cities and Buenos Aires, but when she writes fiction, her stories often come back to where she grew up: the spindly woods of central Indiana, the rolling hills of rural Wisconsin, and the isolated shores of Lake Huron.
When not writing, Alyssa can be found bingeing K-dramas, discovering new music in the middle of the night, or watching horror movies with friends, or dancing at a concert (in non-pandemic times, anyway).
